As'ad AbuKhalil, bekannter libanesischer Politaktivist in den 70er und 80er und jetzt Professor an der California State University Stanislaus und sehr bekannter politischer Autor, gibt gerade in diesem Augenblick auf "Break Through News" seine Expertise bezüglich Gaza und Palästina, und sein Schluss ist:
Die israelische Armee ist viel zu furchtsam, um eine Invasion nach Gaza zu wagen. Sie wird noch die ein oder zwei Tage, die Biden ihr gegeben hat, Massaker begehen, aber sie wird es nicht wagen nach Gaza einzumarschieren.

The Biden administration have given them a day or two more of atrocities, even warcrimes, and they will do more of that, but they will not enter.

You see the pictures on the screen with all the trucks and the tanks? That's all psychological warfare. They will try to scare the population in submission. That army is in no way to invade Gaza.
Die israelische Strategie beruhte auf 3 Punkten:
1. Dem Feind Furcht einjagen
2. Soviele Zivilisten töten wie eben möglich, um die übrige Bevölkerung einzuschüchtern
3. In kürzester Zeit maximal Ziele erreichen

The Israeli strategy was based first on scaring the enemy to incapacity, scaring them into impotence. And they succeeded. That lasted for 7 decades.
Second is: Destroy civilians, kill as many civlians as you can, because will deter other parts of the population.
And the third is, make sure you use very little time to achieve very decisive military gains.
Das ist spätestens seit dem Libanonkrieg 2006 irrelevant. Die israelische Armee kann keinen Krieg mehr führen. Sie kann nur noch Massaker begehen - wie das bekannte von Deir Yassin 1948 durch Menachem Begins Irgun.
The only one that is of use of course is: They still commit many massacres. That is the typical method of the Zionist movement even before the state was founded. the Zionist always believe that we kill as many civilians as we can. Nun, wir werden sehen. Nicht einmal den Versuch zu wagen nach Gaza einzudringen: Das könnte dann für unsere hiesigen Israelfreunde doch eine arge Enttäuschung sein.
Ich glaube, dass AbuKhalil Recht hat und dass Israel schnellstmöglichst auf einen Ausgleich mit den Palästinensern hinarbeiten sollte. Ist das wahrscheinlich? Nein.
